Two shot dead in honour killing incident in Quetta

As many as two people, including a woman, breathed their last when some unknown assailants opened fire on them due to “honour” in Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the channel report, the incident took place in the Goth Nooro Hara area of Bolan Bhag Nari. 

Soon after the incident, local police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies of both persons to the local hospital.
Later, the police cordoned off the entire area to apprehend the accused.

Earlier in July 2025, the woman victim of the Balochistan “honour killing” incident was shot seven times, while the male victim received nine bullet injuries, police confirmed after conducting a post-mortem examination of the slain individuals this week. 

The killings in the southwestern Balochistan province, which took place in June, made headlines and triggered outrage in Pakistan after a video showing the couple being shot went viral online last week. 

The woman, identified by police as Bano Bibi Satakzai, and the man, Ehsan Ullah Sumalani, were both shot dead in the Dagari area located on the outskirts of Quetta.
