Khyber Paktunkhawa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that PTI founder Imran Khan has asked PTI and the masses to get ready for the street movement and public mobilisation the role of legal fraternity will be crucial, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Addressing the lawyers at Lahore High Court Bar Association auditorium, KP Chief Minister said that the justice system of the country has been paralyzed as the orders of Islamabad High Court’s three judges regarding his (KP CM) meeting with Imran Khan were thrown in the trash by a jail superintendent.
CM Sohail Afridi said that PTI stands with independence of judiciary as PTI founder Imran Khan always stressed it will restore judiciary.
Talking about Punjab government, CM Afridi said that the attitude of the occupying government of Punjab towards the guests is in front of everyone.
CM Afridi said that when a Chief Minister of a province comes, more than a thousand workers are picked up. He said Police in Punjab have become rogue. He said the Constitution allows every citizen to hold meetings and stage protest against injustices.
President High Court Bar Malik Asif Niswana, former Governor Sardar Latif Khosa and a large number of PTI lawyers were present on the occasion.
