American singer Taylor Swift and fiance Travis Kelce are not only believed to be quietly laying the groundwork for what many expect to be a blockbuster celebrity wedding in 2026, but they are also increasingly being tipped as a future Hollywood power couple.
As Kelce’s NFL career appears to be approaching its final chapter following 13 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and three Super Bowl victories, the tight end is reportedly turning his attention toward the entertainment industry.
According to Page Six, he has begun reaching out to influential Hollywood figures, with Swift actively supporting and encouraging his next move.
Swift was recently seen anxiously chewing her nails while watching Kelce play on Christmas Day, and she has previously spoken about why their relationship works. In her docuseries The End of an Era, she described Kelce as being the "right fit" for her because their "passions coexist and actually fuel each other."
Sources told Page Six that the couple, both 36, attended Zooey Deschanel’s Christmas party in Los Angeles on December 13. While there, they reportedly mixed with high-profile guests, including The White Lotus producer David Bernad, sparking further speculation about professional projects already taking shape.
A Hollywood insider told the outlet, "It looks like they have a project on the go." Rumors have circulated that Swift and Kelce have discussed the idea of a couple-focused reality show. Kelce has already appeared prominently in Swift’s End of an Era docuseries, which offered fans rare glimpses into their personal life together.
Beyond reality television, Kelce is also said to be in discussions with Curb Your Enthusiasm executive producer Jeff Shaffer about leading his own scripted television series. A source told Page Six, "He would be playing himself," while emphasizing that Kelce also "wants to act."
Interest reportedly extends to streaming giants as well. A Netflix insider claimed the platform’s chief content officer, Bela Bajara, "may well be having conversations with his team," while noting that "everything at this level would be kept top secret for now."
Kelce’s off-field success has further boosted his Hollywood appeal.
His lucrative work as a pitchman for both his own ventures and major brands including State Farm, Experian, and Pfizer has helped him amass an estimated $70 million net worth, according to Forbes. Industry insiders have reportedly described him as "charismatic" and "a natural on television."
Although Kelce was already a major sports star before his relationship with Swift began, his public profile has expanded dramatically since the pair went public with their romance in the summer of 2023.
Kelce has remained noncommittal about retirement, particularly after the Chiefs’ 20–13 loss to the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day. Speaking in an Amazon Prime Video interview, he admitted, "You know, that's a good question, man. I think I'm still searching for those answers."
He added, "The way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated, but I got to make the right decision for me."
He continued, "And I got to hope that if I do want to come back, the Chiefs are willing to bring me back. So, it's a two-way street on that. But at the same time, man, at this point in this year, I'm just trying to finish out and give Chiefs Kingdom everything that I've got and go out there and do it with some of that flair that you said I play with."
Meanwhile, talk of marriage continues to swirl. Swift and Kelce are said to have entered what Jason Kelce jokingly referred to as the "wedding planning phase of their relationship" during the September 3 episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast.
Reacting to his brother’s comment, Travis agreed enthusiastically, saying, "Oh, it's gonna go crazy," before adding, "It's a pretty exciting time, trying to figure out where, dates, all of these things."
With Kelce weighing life beyond football and Swift already firmly established as an entertainment powerhouse, speculation is growing that the couple’s next chapter could see them dominating Hollywood together.
