Three-time Sindh CM sees Bilawal as next PM

Three-time chief minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah has reiterated his resolve to do his best and continue with the mission to ensure better public service delivery.


 “As we delivered, we are elected again in 2024. In the future, Bilawal Bhutto will be elected as the prime minister,” he said while addressing the Sindh Assembly session.


He added: “It is an honour for me to be elected as the chief minister for the third time.  I will not fail to serve the people.


He expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing trust in him.


He said that the opposition should do positive politics.


The CM stressed: “We are always present among our people. That is why PPP has been successful. We are building 21 lakh houses for flood victims.


“The problems of the people will be solved by implementing the 10-point agenda presented by Bilawal Bhutto."


He added: “We also have concerns about the election, but we will take the legal way because we will not play with the integrity of the country for some of our seats.”


“The first thing is to look at the stability of the country. we are not going through an easy period at this time. Terrorism has resurged. We have to play a role to cope with the challenge. The leadership of PPP always offered their services for the country,” he said.


He maintained Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto have a role in making the country a nuclear power and no one can take away this credit from them.


The Sindh CM said that Asif Zardari is going to take oath as the president next month.


 “Street crime is a major problem in Sindh. In this situation, eliminating street crime and unrest in the slums is a top priority.
