Jennifer Lopez was seen stepping out for the first time following the tragic death of her longtime friend and hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who passed away at the age of 34.
The 55-year-old singer and actress paid tribute to the celebrity hairstylist on Instagram with a heartfelt post, mourning his loss.
Lopez kept a low profile, wearing a chic all-white ensemble. She donned a figure-hugging, long-sleeved slinky bodysuit paired with wide-leg ivory tailored pants. She accessorized the look with gold hoop earrings, gold aviator sunglasses, chunky nude wedge heels, and an oversized brown leather handbag with gold hardware. Her luscious toasted almond locks were effortlessly pulled back into a claw clip, with her curtain bangs framing her face.
Guerrero had been working closely with the Jenny From The Block singer just days before his passing, styling her hair for her performance at Saadiyat Nights in Abu Dhabi.
His sister, Gris Guerrero, revealed to US Weekly that Lopez made efforts to save his life. She shared that the singer "talked [Jesus] through everything that she could, along with others that were there."
"I am very grateful for everything she did [for him]," Gris said. "She told him to go to the doctor, not to work, and to get rest."
The cause of Guerrero’s sudden passing remains unknown. His family continues to search for answers, with Gris stating, "We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don’t know what got him sick or what the sickness was."
"It all happened suddenly, and no one knows why," she added.
