Senate Standing Committee on Interior Chairman Rehman Malik called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
According to the military media wing, Rehman Malik and General Bajwa exchanged views on matters of internal and external internal security.
The senator praised the Pakistan Army’s efforts to maintain peace in the country and assured the COAS of the senate body’s full support for maintaining durable peace.
