Pete Davidson is about to become a dad, and his best friend Machine Gun Kelly is already planning playdates with his own newborn daughter.
The SNL alum, 31, recently announced he's expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, whom he began dating in March 2025.
The couple shared the news in a sweet Instagram post.
The surprise pregnancy has brought them closer, with insiders calling their relationship “healthy” and “playful.”
Davidson’s longtime friend MGK – who recently welcomed a daughter named Saga Blade with Megan Fox – reacted to the news with enthusiasm. He commented on Hewitt’s post, “these playdates bout to hittttt,” confirming plans for future hangouts between their little ones.
The duo has shared a close bond since first meeting in 2017 on MTV’s Wild 'N Out, later collaborating on The Dirt and sharing public support during tough times. “He’s like my little brother,” said MGK in a past interview, adding that Davidson is also his best friend.
Both stars have worked on personal growth – MGK credits his daughter Casie, 16, for helping him get sober, while Davidson recently revealed on The Tonight Show that he’s nearly a year sober himself.
“I’m very lucky and very, very happy,” Pete told E! News. “I can't wait to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have.”
