Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday directed Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to start work on the Gwadar Safe City project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a meeting with the prime minister, he briefed him on the new policy devised for the devotees visiting holy sites in Iran and Iraq.
The prime minister, on the occasion, directed the minister for aviation to arrange special flights for the devotees.
The minister also briefed PM Shehbaz on the law and order situation in Balochistan.
Naqvi visits FC Balochistan North headquarters
Earlier, during his visit to Quetta, the interior minister visited the headquarters of FC Balochistan North.
FC IG Major General Abid Mazhar, on the occasion, introduced Naqvi to the officers.
The minister visited the memorial of martyrs, laid a floral wreath there and offered Fatiha.
He paid rich tributes to the martyred officers for their sacrifices in the war against terror.
He also praised the Force for its role in the maintenance of law and order in Balochistan.
Naqvi said that the FC played a key role in foiling the designs of the Fitnatul Hindustan terrorists.
Naqvi visits martyr’s home in Muzaffarabad
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the home of Major Syed Rab Nawaz Gilani Shaheed in Muzaffarabad and offered his condolences to the martyred officer’s family.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain. “Pakistan Army and the government stand by each and every soldier,” he added.
He also offered Fateha for the departed soul and declared the martyred soldier the nation’s pride.
It is reminded here that Gilani had lost his life while fighting against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists a few days ago.
Naqvi on martyrdom of Captain Raja Sarwar Shaheed
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that July 27, 1948 is the day when the first recipient of Nishan-e-Haider laid down his life while defending the country. “Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed showed an extraordinary bravery while fighting against the enemy in Urri sector,” he said, adding, “Despite heavy bombardment and barbed wires, the officer kept advancing toward enemy’s checkposts.
