United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio has endorsed Vice President JD Vance as a top contender for the 2028 presidential elections, describing him as the most suitable candidate for the White House.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, speaking in an interview with a leading American news channel, Rubio said, “JD Vance is the best presidential candidate for the 2028 elections.”
Rubio emphasised that choosing a presidential candidate depends on what has been delivered to the public during the term. “What we deliver to the people is the ultimate metric,” he added.
Rubio’s remarks reflect growing speculation around the future leadership of the Republican Party and suggest that JD Vance, known for his populist appeal and policy focus, could be a frontrunner for the presidency after the current administration’s term ends.
"Presidential candidates should be evaluated based on what they’ve delivered to the American people," said Rubio.
