On the directives of the Punjab government, 11 new electric buses reached Narowal, which will be operated on 6 routes in the city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) said that more electric buses will likely reach Narowal in the near future.
He said that the fare for electric buses is fixed at Rs 20 only. These buses will be operated at Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Qila Ahmadabad, Qila Kalarwala, and Badu Malhi stops.
The Secretary of RTA said that one bus will be operated in Narwal city. The bus will cover a distance of 80 kilometers on one charge.
