Iran's Civil Aviation Authority has announced that commercial flights between Tehran and Dubai will resume from July 1, following a review of operational and security conditions, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to aviation officials, the decision was taken after a detailed assessment of aviation operations and the overall security situation.
Relevant agencies and airlines have been instructed to complete all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth resumption of flights on the scheduled date, they added.
Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines before travelling to confirm flight timings and schedules, as minor adjustments may be made during the initial phase of operations.
The officials said flight operations will be restored gradually, with passenger safety, convenience, and the revival of international air connectivity remaining the top priorities.
The resumption of direct flights is also expected to boost trade, tourism, and business activities between Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
