A Karachi resident was shot dead while his wife sustained serious injuries after unidentified armed men opened fire on their vehicle in Dasht area of Balochistan on Saturday, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the report, the incident occurred Friday night when a family from Karachi’s Nazimabad area was travelling to Quetta in their private vehicle.
The family lost their route after following the Google map and reached the Khand area of Dasht instead of Quetta. As the vehicle entered the area, unidentified gunmen opened fire resultantly head of the family, named Ali Jameel, died on the spot, while his wife suffered critical injuries.
However, the couple’s two children remain safe during the attack. The body of deceased and the injured woman were later shifted to Karachi.
