The British High Commission in Pakistan, Jane Marriott, has extended warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and across the world, marking the religious festival with a special message and a commemorative greeting card, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to a spokesperson for the British High Commission, the mission conveyed its best wishes to all those celebrating Eid-ul-Adha.
She expressed hope that the occasion would bring joy, peace and happiness to communities observing the festival.
The spokesperson also said that the British High Commission had released a special pictorial greeting card to mark Eid-ul-Adha and celebrate the significance of the occasion.
In addition, the High Commission confirmed that its offices would remain closed on Wednesday, 27 May, and Thursday, 28 May, in observance of the Eid holidays.
