Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed regional developments, including Pakistan's efforts in promoting dialogue and diplomacy for lasting peace and stability in the Middle East region.
They also exchanged views on a range of important issues, including UN Security Council reform, the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, Afghanistan and Palestine.
The UN Secretary-General highly appreciated Pakistan's active engagement and contributions to international peace and security and the UN's broad agenda.
