Three different cases have been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership and workers at Sadar Hassan Abdal police station, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub, Arif Alvi and several members of the National and Provincial Assembly have been named in the FIR.
The cases have been registered on the complaint of SHO Gulfraz Khan, SHO Muhammad Naeem and in-charge of the Burhan outpost Asif Iqbal.
FIRs have been registered from locations near Pathargarh, Hazara Motorway and government schools near Burhan.
More than ten thousand workers including District Hassan Abdal Qazi president Ahmed Akbar MPA and Yawar Bukhari have also been named in the cases.
The FIR registered against the accused includes 23 different sections including terrorism and attempt to murder.
According to text of the FIR, the accused snatched dozens of tear gas guns, anti-riot kits and mobile phones from the police personnel.
They entered the temporary police camp in a government school and looted it, text of FIR said.
During the looting, the accused seized 80 thousand in cash, motorcycle and government paraphernalia and police uniforms, text of FIR further said.
Text of FIR said the accused burnt and disabled six police vehicles.
The police have arrested several workers and further raids are underway, police said.
Meanwhile, vehicles used in the protest have been taken into custody during operation at Jinnah Avenue Islamabad.
There were 19 Toyota vans, 8 cars and 8 motorcycles used in the protest.
According to security sources, terrorism FIRs will be registered against the vehicles used in the protest and the records of the vehicle owners have been found.
The protesters fled leaving their damaged vehicles behind. The vehicles were dumped in the parking lot next to the petrol pump attached to Jinnah Avenue.
The burnt container used for Bushra Bibi in the protest will also be taken into custody.
