What could be termed a big relief for SereneAir and a major step towards the restoration of the airline’s flight operation, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Thursday restored the airline’s air operator’s certificate (AOC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The restoration of the AOC will help the airline import planes’ engines as well as their spare parts.
However, SereneAir’s all flight operation will remain suspended until all regulatory steps are taken.
The CAA has said that the purpose of restoring the AOC is to provide the airline another opportunity to restore its flight operation.
On the instructions of the CAA DG, director flight standard issued the order.
The Authority had suspended the airline’s AOC last month over the violation of regulatory laws.
