Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) delegation visited and inspected Multan Airport for modern baggage handling system, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA), the Japanese team took soil samples for baggage system upgrade.
Level-3 baggage handling system will be installed at Multan Airport.
Level-3 baggage handling system is equipped with modern 'CT scanners or trace detection' technology.
Japanese team also handed over two new CCTV cameras to the airport administration.
Airport manager assured continuity of passenger screening during installation of baggage handling system.
