Pakistani security forces killed at least 22 Indian-sponsored terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 26.
Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan District on reports of presence of Khwarij militants belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij. During the operation, troops effectively traced the Khwarij location and killed 22 of them in an intense exchange of fire.
A sanitization operation is being carried out in the area to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area. The operation was carried out under “Azm-e-Istehkam” counterterrorism campaign approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
