Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday visited Lahore’s Mayo Hospital and inspected work on the under-construction emergency block, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The chief minister went round block’s basement, ground, first, second, third and fourth floors.
He, on the occasion, directed that not only block’s upgradation be completed at a brisk pace but there should also be no compromise on the quality of work.
CM Naqvi visits Jamia Ashrafia
The chief minister also visited Jamia Ashrafia in Lahore and congratulated Maulana Fazlur Raheem on his appointment as Punjab Quran Board chairman.
He expressed the hope that under the guidance of Maulana, the Board would be reactivated.
He assured Maulana that the Punjab government would fully support the Board.
Maulana thanked the CM and prayed for the prosperity, development, peace and stability of the country.
Provincial ministers Dr. Javed Akram, Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Bilal Afzal, Wahab Riaz, Nazim Jamia Ashrafia Maulana Hafiz Asad Ubaid, Mufti Ahmad Ali, Maulana Hafiz Zubair Hassan and other religious scholars were also present on the occasion.
