The blockbuster final of the Cricket Asia Cup 2025 between Pakistan and India will be played in Dubai tomorrow and there is a possibility that the two captains will not have a traditional photo session with the trophy before the final, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The final decision on the trophy photo session with the captains will be made before the match tomorrow but the odds are tough.
According to the Asia Cup administration, no ceremony has been held today regarding the Asia Cup final.
Pakistan cricket team captain Salman Ali Agha will hold a press conference at 7 pm Pakistan time tonight.
The team will also participate in a practice session before the final at the ICC Academy from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Earlier in the tournament, the Indian team avoided handshakes with Pakistan players during the two matches, and reports suggest a similar situation could unfold in the final.
With the atmosphere tense, the likelihood of both captains posing together with the trophy looks slim.
