A parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan led by Speaker of Upper House of Legislative Assembly Nuriddin Ismoilov has arrived in Pakistan on a five-day visit.
The delegation is visiting on the invitation of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. During the visit, the delegation will hold important meetings with the Speaker National Assembly and political leadership of Pakistan.
The meetings will discuss cooperation in the field of law making and regional connectivity. The delegation will also meet members of the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group and visit historical and cultural sites in Pakistan.
The visit will prove to be a milestone in further strengthening parliamentary relations between the two countries and promoting peace and stability in the region. Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations are based on mutual respect, cultural harmony and shared values.
