The Businessmen Group has secured a complete victory in the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry election, winning all seats in both the corporate and associate classes, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
In the corporate class, Shahid Ismail received the highest number of votes, securing 1,547 votes and finishing at the top of the list. Muzammil Chippal followed closely with 1,540 votes, placing second in the class.
According to the TV channel report, Muhammad Tayyab received the lowest number of votes in the corporate class, with 158 votes.
In the associate class, Haji Asif Chhmediya and Aamir Mansha jointly secured the highest number of votes, with 1,501 votes each.
Muhammad Ibrahim Kasbomi also performed strongly, receiving 1,494 votes. Abdul Rauf Ibrahim recorded the lowest number of votes in the associate class, receiving 196 votes.
The results give the Businessmen Group control of all the seats contested in both the corporate and associate classes of the Karachi Chamber election.
