Six people, including four American citizens and one British national, were killed in a gas explosion at a house in Athens, the capital of Greece.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the explosion took place at a house in the Plaka district, where the four American citizens were staying as tenants.
A British man and his Greek wife were on the second floor of the building when the explosion occurred. Both were killed in the incident.
Three other people were injured in the blast and were taken for medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion and establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
