Pakistan’s volleyball team made a winning start to its Asian Games campaign by defeating Kazakhstan 3-1 in an exciting match, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
Pakistan dominated the opening two sets, winning 25-16 and 25-22 to take a strong early lead.
Kazakhstan fought back in the third set, winning 25-17, but Pakistan kept its composure and sealed the match by taking the fourth set 25-20.
Pakistan will play its next match against Uzbekistan on Monday as it looks to continue its winning run in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Rabia Kabir finished 41st among 44 shooters in the 25-metre rapid-fire shooting event in the Asian Games.
