Kharian Saddr police arrested Thursday a rickshaw driver for allegedly subjecting a 15-year-old girl of Jhelum to rape for three days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The rape victim, identity withheld, told the police that she, in a fit of rage, left her house in Kala Gujran, Jhelum and reached Kharian on April 22 where the accused rickshaw driver took her to a flat and kept raping her for three days.
She maintained that she managed to reach the police station as soon as she got a chance to escape from the captivity of the accused.
The police arrested the accused identified as Farhan and registered a case against him on the request of the victim’s brother.
