The federal government has appointed Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi as chairman of Karachi Port Trust, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Establishment Division formally issued a notification of his appointment on Friday.
Prior to this appointment, Syedain Raza Zaidi was working as member in FBR headquarters in Karachi.
Mr Zaidi is a grade-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service. Federal Cabinet gave approval to his appointment.
