The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has confirmed the sighting of the moon marking the beginning of Zilqad across various parts of Pakistan.
The announcement came after a meeting held on Monday, attended by members of the Central and Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Meteorological Department.
Credible moon sighting reports were received from several regions, including Peshawar. Meteorological experts had earlier forecasted visibility between 6:52 pm and 7:50 pm.
After verifying the testimonies, the committee officially declared that the first day of Zilqad 1446 AH will be observed tomorrow, Tuesday, April 29.
