A regional supervisor on duty and a local leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) was martyred in an attack on a polio team near Killi Muhammad Hassan in Roghani area of Chaman on Thursday, reported 24NewHD TV channel.
Hafiz Qadir Jan was also the leader of JUI-F Tehsil Chaman. Hafiz Qadir Jan was spreading awareness about the polio campaign starting on September 1.
The accused fled after the firing and Levies personnel have launched an operation to hunt them down.
