YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, commonly known as Ducky Bhai will remain in the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency’s custody for four more days as a Lahore court extended his physical remand, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Ducky Bhai was presented in court on Thursday. The government lawyer sought an extension in his physical remand claiming that the investigation is still ongoing.
Saad’s lawyer, Ch Usman Ali, opposed the extension, but the judicial magistrate granted the agency’s request.
The next hearing has been set for September 1 after completion of the four-day extension.
Earlier, the agency was awarded the extension for 5 days on August 23rd. The YouTuber was produced before the judicial magistrate’s court, where FIA officials sought more time to interrogate him. Accepting the request, the court extended his physical custody, directing FIA to present him again after the completion of remand.
According to FIA investigators, Rehman allegedly promoted several online gambling platforms, including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365 and B9 Game, through his YouTube content.
