Senator Pervez Rashid termed the recent fire incident in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in which 13 newborns were burnt alive a “great tragedy”, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Addressing in the Senate, Pervez Rashid suggested that government should bound all government employees and their families to avail medical facilities from government hospitals.
He further stated that treatment of government employees and their families in private hospitals should be banned.
Senator Pervez Rashid said that “this is not the first tragedy as there are tragedies on daily basis”.
