Former prime minister Imran Khan, who is currently lodged in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, underwent biometric verification of his bank account on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The verification was done by a team of bank staff who visited the jail premises with the permission of the court.
Khan had filed an application in the Official Secrets Act court through his lawyer Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry, seeking biometric verification of his account as per the requirement of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The court allowed the verification to be conducted in the jail, where Khan is facing charges of espionage and treason.
