The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday reserved the verdict on the petition, seeking Rs4.66 per unit hike in the electricity tariff under the monthly fuel adjustment for the month of November, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Authority will pronounce the decision after going through the statistics.
Member NEPRA Mathar Niaz Rana said capacity payment was a serious issue.
He informed that a show-cause notice had been issued to the NTDC in connection with the falling of its towers.
Another member NEPRA Rafiq Sheikh said that 15 to 25 show-cause notices had been issued to the power distribution companies during the last six to eight months.
