Ayeza Khan’s heartfelt tribute to legendary Qavi Khan

Ayeza Khan paid tribute to the late actor Qavi Khan, sharing a rare glimpse of their close bond on social media.

On her Instagram story, Ayeza reposted a heartfelt note from Qavi Khan in which he mentioned, “Miss you, Qavi Uncle,” reflecting the warmth and mutual respect between the two stars.

Ayeza also shared a light-hearted chat they had, where she wrote, “Hahahahahh, I am in Lahore abhi tu,” to which Qavi Khan humorously replied, “WOW, the funny thing was told at 12:27 PM, but you started laughing at 12:16 AM—8 hours later, WELL DONE. Keep it up.”

The post also featured a video of Qavi Khan from one of his dramas, offering life wisdom to a friend:

"Every new sunrise marks a new day… full of light. But every day is followed by a night. No matter how long the night is, it cannot stop the day.

Do not mourn the past; look ahead. Keeping your eyes backward makes your feet stiff like stone."

Ayeza Khan and Qavi Khan shared the screen in notable TV dramas including Chupke Chupke (2021), where she played Maneeha and Qavi Khan had a recurring role and Koi Chand Rakh (2018) with Ayeza as Dr. Rabail.

Both also appeared in the 2022 film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad.

Qavi Khan, born on November 15, 1942, in Peshawar, was a pioneer of Pakistani television and cinema.

With a career spanning over six decades, he starred in more than 1,000 TV plays and 200 films, earning accolades such as the Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

He gained fame with iconic dramas like Andhera Ujala, Roshni (1975) and Aangan (2018). Known for portraying characters with depth and authenticity, he left an indelible mark on Pakistani entertainment before passing away on March 5, 2023, in Canada.
