Authorities in Pakistan have started monitoring the country’s airspace in the wake of an attack by Israel and the USA on Iran, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
On the other hand, Pakistani airlines have been asked not to use the Iranian airspace.
However, despite the situation in the region, arising out of a military conflict between the USA and Israel on one side and Iran on the other, Pakistan’s airspace is completely secure and operational, the country’s Airports Authority (PAA) has said, adding that the airspace is available for all types of civil aviation.
Today’s Iran’s airspace is closed for planes from 11:30 AM to 17:00 PM.
The PAA has said that it is ready to cope with a possible increase in air traffic at nighttime.
The Authority has said that all operations are presently going on as per routine and that the safety of people is its priority.
