Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) deployed emergency staff for uninterrupted power supply during Basant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
LESCO Power Control Center's Axion Mir Mustafa has been appointed as the focal person.
A special control room has been set up in Data Darbar Division.
Axion Data Darbar Division Sirajuddin Arejo, Axion McLeod Road Muhammad Nasir and SDO Sheranwala Gate Sub-Division Ali Zohaib will be present in the special control room 24 hours a day.
Line staff, P&I and maintenance staff will be on duty 24 hours a day from February 6 to 8, 2026.
In view of Basant safety measures, LESCO has installed safety nets at grid stations.
Chief Executive LESCO Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt advised people should avoid using metal wires during Basant.
He said LESCO is ensuring power supply with people-friendly measures.
