The trophy of a T20 International (T20I) series between Pakistan and Australia was unveiled in Lahore on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a pre-series news conference on the occasion, Pakistan skipper Salman Agha said that the team was quite excited about the series.
He said that the team did not get the conditions favourable for scoring runs of late.
The skipper said that Babar Azam had regained his form and was batting quite well. “He plays aggressively when required,” he added.
Agha said that no team was big or small in the T20 format of the game.
He said that the series would prove productive for preparing for the T20 World Cup.
Speaking on the occasion, Australian Captain Mitchel Marsh said that Pakistan had produced great fast bowlers. “Shaheen Afridi is a great bowler,” he added.
Marsh further said that conditions in Australia were different from that of Pakistan. “These days, the weather is quite hot in Australia, while it is wintertime in Pakistan.”
Aussie skipper said that the team was looking forward to the series and it would display its skills in front of the Pakistani crowd.
