The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) has announced a range of international scholarships for students seeking admission to bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
According to the university, students with outstanding academic performance may qualify for a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees.
Merit-based candidates may also receive scholarships offering tuition fee waivers of up to 50%, while all eligible international students can benefit from a special 20% discount on tuition fees.
Students who successfully complete their first academic year may also have an opportunity to apply independently for scholarships offered by the German Academic Exchange Service, commonly known as DAAD.
GUtech offers academic programmes in engineering, geosciences, urban planning, logistics and other specialised fields.
Interested students can submit applications for admission and scholarships online through the university’s official website.
The university said the final selection of candidates would be carried out by GUtech Oman after reviewing applicants’ academic records, eligibility and overall merit.
