A man strangled his wife to death before setting her body on fire in Ghazi Wal Colony of Narowal on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police registered an FIR of the incident, while the woman’s body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.
Nida, who was the only sister of six brothers, and Ammad had married only three months ago.
Ammad liked another girl and wanted to marry her.
SHO Faheem said that raids were being conducted for the arrest of Imad and soon he would be in police’s custody.
