Two siblings who went missing from Chak 113-Nine-L two days ago were found near the national highway, police said on Sunday.
A kidnapping case had been registered at Dera Rahim police station on the complaint of the children’s mother.
Motorway Police spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed said 12-year-old Ali Raza and 8-year-old Maryam were found crying on the national highway.
He said Motorway Police took the children into custody and later handed them over to their family at the relevant police station.
Police said an investigation was underway from all aspects of the case.
