Omar Ayub Khan, who was appointed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Secretary General by the party Chairman Imran Khan only yesterday, said on Sunday that last night Islamabad Police raided his home for the second time in the last five days and stole his Toyota Hilux parked in garage, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his tweets, he said that the police came to his home without search warrants. “Islamabad Police, after conducting illegal raids on people’s homes, are now stealing cars,” he said, and added, “Judges, civil servants and diplomats should protect their vehicles.”

Omar asked to whom he should complain about the car theft. “Should I lodge a complaint with the police, which stole the car from my house?” he questioned.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan also condemned raids on the houses of Omar Ayub and Shahzad Akbar in a tweet.
He tweeted: “There were raids at night on Omar Ayub and Shahzad Akbar's (he's not even in the country) houses.
“Today we are living in dark ages. Constitution violated, court decisions openly flouted, houses broken in without warrant and smashed, media muzzled and no one to protect our fundamental rights.”
