Pakistan’s celebrated pop singer and composer, Ahmed Jahanzeb, fondly known as AJ and Wonderboy, received a flood of birthday wishes from fans, friends, and fellow artists as he marked another milestone in his illustrious musical journey.

Known for his soulful voice and mastery of slow, emotionally rich songs, Jahanzeb has left a lasting impression on the Pakistani music scene. He began his musical career at the tender age of eight and is among the rare few in the country with formal classical training.

His musical journey was set on a prestigious path when Ustad Rais Khan accepted him as a pupil in a traditional Rasm-e-Gandha Bandhi ceremony at Karachi’s Sheraton Hotel in 1988. The event, a landmark in Pakistan’s music history, was graced by luminaries, dignitaries, and prominent media figures.
