Thousands of tourists poured into the hill station of Murree on the second day of the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, flocking to the scenic resort to celebrate the festival amid cool weather, bustling attractions, and a lively festive atmosphere, 24NewsHD TV reported on Thursday.

Families were seen enjoying barbecues, picnics, and sightseeing across various tourist spots, while authorities continued to enforce Section 144 on the city’s famous Mall Road, allowing entry only to families.

Security and traffic checks remained strict at Murree’s entry points, where officials were inspecting vehicles before allowing tourists to enter the Mall Road area.

Meanwhile, local traders protested against the ban on the entry of bachelors, saying repeated restrictions were badly affecting business activities during the peak holiday season.

More than 200 traffic police personnel have been deployed across Murree to manage the heavy flow of vehicles and maintain smooth traffic movement during the Eid holidays.

Authorities said special traffic arrangements had also been put in place to prevent congestion in the busy tourist destination.
