Balochistan leaders meet to discuss security, stability, development

A significant meeting of Balochistan’s top political leadership and coalition partners was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, bringing together key decision-makers to discuss the province’s political landscape, law and order and ongoing development initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentary leader Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) provincial president Sardar Umar Gurgej, Balochistan Awami Party leaders Nawabzada Tariq Magsi and Mir Sadiq Sanjrani, and ANP’s Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, among others.

The participants engaged in detailed discussions on the province’s current political situation, with the coalition partners expressing full confidence in the provincial government. A collective resolve emerged to move forward unitedly for political stability and sustained progress.

The leaders also reviewed law and order conditions, expressing satisfaction with the steps taken so far to stabilize peace in the region, while offering suggestions for improvement. Agreement was reached on adopting a joint strategy to accelerate development projects, improve governance and ensure that welfare measures directly address public needs.

A comprehensive and workable plan has been formulated to ensure that the benefits of development reach the grassroots level. Emphasis was placed on coordination among coalition partners and strong parliamentary engagement as essential pillars for Balochistan’s future.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti highlighted the importance of unity, stating, “Political harmony and strong parliamentary contacts are the guarantee of the province’s future. All allies are united for the development and peace of Balochistan. Suggestions from all political partners are welcome—our shared vision is our real strength.”

Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel echoed this sentiment, noting that unity on the province’s peace and development agenda reflects a “pleasant political environment” and a positive direction for Balochistan.

The meeting concluded with renewed commitment to collective progress, stability, and public welfare, marking a promising step toward a more prosperous Balochistan.
