Minister for Power Sardar Awais Khan Leghari has said that the Power Division is working tirelessly to provide uninterrupted electricity to consumers and ensure timely resolution of their complaints.

He expressed these views while addressing the launching ceremony of the newly operational 118 helpline for electricity complaints in Islamabad today.

The Power Minister said the service has been introduced in line with the ministry's vision of serving the people is best possible way. He said, through this facility, citizens will be able to register their complaints from home, and their issues will be addressed promptly.

Terming the initiative a major achievement, Sardar Awais Khan Leghari acknowledged the support of the Federal Government, the Army Chief, the Establishment Division, and all stakeholders. He thanked everyone who contributed to the successful launch of the service.

The Federal Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to power-sector reforms, adding that the ministry is striving to ensure transparency and provide better facilities to power consumers.

He further said that new initiatives and incentives will be introduced for employees to help them perform at their best, enabling effective and timely redressal of public complaints.
