Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan announced names of six panel of chairpersons, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The panel of chairpersons includes Samiullah Khan, Agha Ali Haider, Shaukat Raja, Raheela Khadim Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Arshad Malik. Meanwhile, newly-elected members of the Punjab Assembly took oath of office. Among those who took oath were Mian Sultan Ranjha, Ali Haider Noor Niazi, Azad Ali Tabassum, Tahir Pervez, Ahmed Shahryar and Muhammad Hanif Shamil.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan administered the oath to the newly elected members of the assembly.
The newly elected members of the assembly took oath amidst opposition ruckus as opposition raised slogans against the oath-taking of the newly elected members of the assembly.
During the oath-taking, the opposition members kept standing on their seats and banging their desks. The government members of the assembly gave a strong response to the slogans of the opposition members.
