A wave of joy spread through the Saleem Khan area of Swabi as a local couple welcomed four healthy babies—two boys and two girls—at the Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC) on Friday.

According to a hospital spokesperson, both the mother and the newborns are in good health, making the rare birth a moment of celebration for the family and medical staff alike.

Dr. Inayatullah, in charge of the neonatal care unit, shared that the quadruplets were delivered naturally, without surgery—an uncommon and remarkable occurrence.

After birth, the babies were admitted to the intensive care unit, where they received specialized care for 21 days. Now one month old, all four infants have shown steady improvement and are thriving.

The father, Maqsood Ali, expressed immense happiness over the blessing of quadruplets.

“I am very happy to have four children at once,” he said, adding heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and support of the BKMC administration and medical team. “I would like to express my special gratitude to the doctors and staff who took such good care of my family.”

The successful delivery and recovery highlight the growing capabilities of BKMC in handling complex maternal and neonatal cases, bringing not just medical success but also joy to an entire community.
