Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Center in Gujranwala and reviewed the processing of CNICs on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the visit, the interior minister interacted with citizens who had come to the Center for the obtaining new CNICs and other documents.
The citizens expressed their complete satisfaction over the NADRA performance. On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi directed the staff to expedite their services for the people.
He ordered the resolution of some matters on the spot. He also lauded the performance of NADRA staff while performing their duty.
He inquired about the time it takes for the services being provided at the center.
The Interior Minister said that every citizen should be treated as “VIP” person in the NADRA center.
Mohsin Naqvi said, “Citizens' work should be done on the same day and documents should be provided within the stipulated time.”
The citizens thanked Mohsin Naqvi for resolving their issues. The citizens informed the interior minister that their work was being completed as per the prescribed time.
