The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Tuesday marked Pink Day to promote breast cancer awareness during the T20 International match between Pakistan and South Africa.

Before the start of the match, a ceremony was held in the media box to highlight the significance of Pink Day.

President of the Rawalpindi–Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA), Abubakar bin Talat, pinned pink ribbons on sports journalists to symbolize solidarity with breast cancer patients and survivors.

Sports journalists covering the match wore pink ribbons as a gesture of support for the cause.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan cricket team took the field wearing special pink kits to spread awareness about breast cancer and emphasize the importance of early detection and treatment.
