Khyber Paktunkhawa Chief Minister has said that PTI was set to move Supreme Court of Pakistan as Adiala Jail administration was reluctant to obey the orders of Islamabad High Court, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Talking to media at Dahgal checkpoint near Adiala Jail Rwalpindi, CM Afridi said PTI was filing a contempt petition as the orders of three judges have been disobeyed.
He lamented that PTI leader Imran Khan cases were not being taken up in the Supreme Court. CM Afridi urged SC to restore rule of law as all lawyers and the nation was behind judges.
Sohail Afridi complained that PTI was being denied access to justice system as courts were announcing decisions on the behest of others. CM Afridi claimed that Imran Khan will be out of jail when court will be free to announce verdict.
KP CM said Pakistani judges themselves have written letters and claimed that their decisions were being interfered with.
CM Afridi said, “PTI was telling the judges that Pakistan has a democracy and in a democracy the people are the source of power”. He urged the judges to name the people who are interfering in the decisions.
KP CM said “he was receiving messages from Imran Khan but question is why am I not being allowed to meet the founder? I have come here with the mandate of the people”.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that Khyber Paktunkhawa government was not working as the government was incomplete without provincial cabinet.
He said all ministries were being kept by CM Afridi. Salman Raja said posts about Fazl-ur-Rehman were fake. He said public will decided which is genuine leader and who are puppets.
PTI Chief Barrister Gohar has said that KP Chief minister’s meeting with Imran Khan was need of the hour.
He said meeting was of prime importance and CM should be allowed to meet Imran Khan. He said denying meeting was illogical.
Gohar said CM Afridi has got two third majority votes therefore there should be no mess about it. Meanwhile, Adiala jail administration has allowed Imran Khan’s sisters to meet Imran Khan.
