On the court orders, a case was registered against the police personnel in Khairpur on Sunday for torturing (half-frying) an innocent youth in custody, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The case was registered on the orders of the second additional sessions judge Khairpur.
SHO Tando Masti Yasir Khoso, Inspector Azam Makrani, police personnel Ghulam Abbas Mehr, Muhammad Arif Abrro, Mumtaz Mehrr and Mushtaq Jakarr were nominated in the case registered on the complaint of Samina Channa, a resident of Kot Diji.
As many as 10 unidentified persons were also nominated in the FIR.
Naeem Ali Channa had been half-fried a month ago.
Police, on the other hand, have said that Naeem had been wounded during an encounter.
Expressing grave concern over the police’s conduct, the family of the youth as well as residents of the area have demanded the provision of justice.
